Dear Friend of The Mendelssohn Choir of Connecticut:

We are reaching out to you as a friend and supporter of the arts in Fairfield County. 

For nearly twenty-five years, The Mendelssohn Choir of Connecticut, directed by Dr. Carole Ann Maxwell, has brought innovative performances of exceptional choral music to Fairfield County audiences.  Programs have ranged in repertoire from the Baroque and Classical periods to contemporary and popular music.  Working with outstanding orchestras and instrumentalists, the Choir has made Norwalk Concert Hall its hall of choice by producing a series of concerts that has enriched the musical culture of our region.  

We have developed and continue to expand our Outreach Program. Our smaller ensemble, the Mendelssingers, has volunteered to bring the joy of music to assisted-living facilities and hospitals throughout Fairfield County .  In addition, Mendelssingers has been requested to perform for numerous community events.  

The mission of The Mendelssohn Choir of Connecticut is to develop and perform a repertoire from all musical periods and genres while striving to develop and promote an appreciation of choral music.  Further, it strives to educate its members and the general public in the musical arts, to nurture emerging artists and to attract people of diverse backgrounds both as choral singers and audience members.  In these difficult economic times it can be challenging to fulfill this vision.  We ask, therefore, that you consider helping us so that we may continue to bring you outstanding choral music.  If you are able to help, please fill out the form below and send it with your donation to:
